Spring time in Texas!

Today we ventured North-West out of Houston, to the Brenham area to check out the Bluebonnets. This time of year they are blooming like crazy and you can just stop on the side of the road to see them, which is exactly what we did... We weren't alone either, there were tons of people with their kids dressed up in their Sunday clothes taking pictures sitting in a patch of Bluebonnets. The field we stopped at was very pretty and had 1000's of Bluebonnets blooming everywhere.

After playing in the field for a while we went to Chapel Hill, Tx for the Annual Bluebonnet festival. We walked around looking at crafts and junk, mainly junk but there were a couple of cool things, listened to music, and ate really bad for you food. My favorite was the foot long corndog with lots of mustard. I think Paige liked the roasted corn the best. It was a good day, we are both tired after getting up early and being in the sun all day, but we still had a great time. I posted a bunch of pics below to share. Enjoy.....

Here is Paige goofing around in the Bluebonnet field...

I don't think she wanted me to share this one, but I thought it was funny.
