I saw this video on youtube and I wanted to share with everyone so they could see what I do at work effects what is going on in the ISS. This is part of a video of "A Day in the Life Onboard the ISS" it shows Garrett Reisman talking about a normal day on the ISS and showing some of the tools he interfaces with. Now for those of you who didn't know, I switched to the ISS Planning group, and right now I am pursuing my Orbital Communication Adapter (OCA) certification. Basically what that means is I'm the one who sends files from the ground to the station. So all the things he is looking at on the computer, my position probably uplinked. Another thing he is looking at is the schedule which my group of course creates and updates constantly. His remarks about it are funny to me, but I'm a nerd. It's very cool to see what you do actually in use. Enjoy!
